The MasterCard Foundation Fund for Rural Prosperity

The MasterCard Foundation Fund for Rural Prosperity is a US$50 million challenge fund created to support the design and delivery of financial products, services or processes that are innovative or that can be scaled to reach at least one million people living in the rural areas of Africa.

The MCF FRP is funded by The MasterCard Foundation, a global private foundation based in Toronto, Canada. The Foundation advances youth learning and promotes financial inclusion to catalyze prosperity in developing countries, particularly in Africa.
